Mad about name choices

So my BD and I aren't together anymore and we just recently started talking to eachother. He says he still loves me, but doesn't want to be with me, blah, blah.

We got in a fight over baby names today. He's mad because I'm not giving the baby his last name and because I'm not going to name it after his dead grandmother.

Plus, I think Aislinn Branna is better than Aislinn Mercedes. I don't know. Over irrational?

I think Branna is ugly.

branna is ugly. why do people always have to try and give a 'cool' trendy name?

I'm not a huge fan of the name Branna, but Mercedes is a stripper name.

Nope I think if he isn't going to be around he doesn't deserve for the baby to have his last name. And he hasn't been around to talk with you and decide and come to a conclusion about names so I say the choice is all yours..... Just like my baby alex.... I was going to name him Robert Darius and his dad flipped because I wasn't either going to name him after his dad or his dads name be his middle... but in the end I named him by myself and actually not knowingly named him Alexander which his brothers name is Alejandro. and Jordan for his middle name. So he sort of got a family name I guess...

Branna isn't about being cool or trendy.
I like the name because we are an Irish family.

And I think Mercedes sounds like a stripper name too.

Maybe Brenna? I personally dont like Branna or Mercedes.

Alexander Jordan, that's a cute name.

Maybe Brenna instead of Branna?
Overall, it's up to you, though   I'm just giving my opinion.

If he wasn't there to hold your hair while you puked your guts out with morning sickness, if he wasn't there to massage your acing back, he doesn't deserve to have a choice in the baby's name. (NOTE: I mean if he chose not to be there. I am not saying military fathers don't deserve to help with name picking. I just want to clear that up.)

I like the name Melissa, but Grace seems a little religious for me.
Plus Aislinn Branna has been my name of choicesince I was like six.
