Branna-- might as well make it Brianna.

Having a boy isn't a problem. I like the name Branna. I'm not using it anyway. I just let him have the stupid middle name he wanted, doesn't matter to me anymore anyway. If you would have read before the boy name is already picked out, so I wasn't worried about that one, just the girl one.

I'd rather have a boy anyway. So, I hope I do have a boy.

I like Branna cuz it seems more original, I don't hear the name that much, and its cool to have an original like name. Plus Mercedes make everyone think of a car lol.

I have to ask.....it is pronounced Br-on-na or more like Bron-ya? Because the second pronounciation is pretty i think, and you cant tell how its said because there are no accent marks on it. If it is irish, a lot of those names seem to have a y sound when 2 n's are together. Anyway, do what you want with it. Regardless of what everyone else thinks, its your choice....it sounds like you may not totally be into the name if you are really asking everyone's opinion. Good luck!

So many other lovely Irish classics out there, why Branna? It isn't TERRIBLE, but it doesn't have the most feminine sound either. I LOVE Aislinn and the fact that your spelling it correctly makes me ever happier. I always liked Ciara next to Aislinn. (keer-ah, I hate how people in the US butcher it into kee-ar-ah....*blech*)

I'm actually very happy, because thats what I wanted. Jesse Aiden. Jesse, after his grandfather, who I love and adore and I even choose to name it after him on my own and without anyone's advice.
