New PMs not working in IE7 support group

posted 19th Oct
I'm trying to sort out issues with IE7 and the new PM messaging system.

If you are using IE7, please let me know:

1) what happens when you try to read messages. Do you see nothing? Does something show and then disappear? What is the error message, etc?
2) which operating system (XP, Vista Home, Vista Business, etc.) and service pack you have (e.g. on XP you can right-click on computer and click properties, it will say something like XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3).
3) which IE7 version you have (go to help and about, and copy the number it shows you there).

I will also try setting up a series of test pages to see which of them show for you or not.

the only thing that sucks is you can't save messages anymore

I wonder why you don't. Strange. I can still check the box next to the message and then choose save.

Are you sure? You should see checkboxes listed to the right, and a save button up top. Also..make sure you're not looking at the "archived" version that lists your PM's in the old format.

I'm sorry - I mistyped in the other thread. I have IE 7 on XP and it doesn't work. I voted right in the poll.

Which Service Pack in XP are you working with? Right-click on "my computer" and then click "properties" - and it should let you know (look under the "system" results)

I think I've found the problem. Let me know if it works now.

If it's still showing the error, it could be because the old page is in your cache. If that happens, then access this page:http://members.baby-gaga.com/messages.php?test=1

Is it all good now? (crosses fingers)
