Nightmares....cant sleep anymore.

I havent been able to sleep ever since I had Sophia stillborn, I usually fall aleep about 1 in the morning and than when I do fall asleep I wake up all night long and have nitghtmares.

Last night I had a nightmare that I had a baby boy...even in my dream I knew how much I loved him...he meant so much to me...after this past month of wanting a baby so badly...getting a baby in even just in my dream felt amazing.Than my mom called and saying he had died while I was out shopping for him. (This may sound stupid, but I woke up feeling so heartbroken)

I always dream Im shopping for a baby.... I always dream about babies.
And Ive been having really scary dreams for some reason about my dad...
In one dream he was using the butt of his cigar to burn holes into my stomach and in another he was using a spatuala that had been heated on the stove and was using it to hit my mom in the face.

I hope Im not going crazy.

Sounds normal to me. After I lost my babies I had weird dreams. Like seeing burned dolls and walking down a hallway with my angelbaby and having people give me means looks like I'm the one that hurt it.

I'm sorry for your loss but you are not going crazy. Just having normal dreams. You might want to try talking to your doc about sleeping pills. You usually don't dream when taking those. At least until you feel a lil better. So sorry for your loss momma!

aw Im soo sorry! You should really go talk to your doc and see if they can give you some sleeping pills or something! I can't even imagine having dreams like that every night!!!

Oh honey, I'm so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine what it is that you are going through... and obviously you are working through a lot in your dreams. Have you gone to counseling at all, or thought about going? To grief counseling? *hugs*

Wow, those are crazy dreams. They must be stemming from something. I wish I knew, but I don't. But I used to have recurring nightmares about zombies, like a few years ago after seeing "Dawn of the Dead". They were horrible and I couldn't sleep because every night I had them. I was afraid to go to sleep. There has to be some significance to recurring dreams, but I don't know what.

I don't think that u are crazy about what u feel and what u are dreaming.. I think that u are still trying to recover from what happen.. Maybe, next time u have a bad dream just pray about and everything will be ok...I know that the Lord blessed u again with a healthy baby, I know this because I been thru it before myself..

And I'm sorry...I should have added this, I don't think you are going crazy, at all. You are working through a lot, and we naturally work through a lot in our dreams and sometimes it can be very frightening. I think what the other girls are saying about talking to a doc about some medication to help you sleep, is probably a good idea.

Carlos and I started grief counsaling but the apps. are so far appart.
An I went to a different place tosee a therapist and HE wasnt phased by the fact that I lost my baby....so I wont be going back to see him, I need to try an find a woman maybe?

Ya I should probably start taking sleeping pills, but I hate having to be on meds. = (

Meds do suck but I think it'd help. Don't think of them as meds but as a way to help you sleep and greive properly. You don't need nightmares likethis all the time.

I guess Ill call the doctor today or send an e-mail making an app. I wish I didnt have to rely on so many meds.

Oh my, yes, maybe a woman would be a better fit. I know it can be so hard to find the right therapist.  

I know thinking about staying on medications isn't ideal, but think of it as for right now. Just to help you get through. It doesn't have to be forever.

I did have the perfect therapist but get this...shes on maternity leave still.
