If it happens naturally, it'll be okay.
My son was born at 39 weeks. by scheduled c-section. He was fine.

Your baby would be fine if they were born today. You are term at 37 weeks. My son was born at 37 weeks 5 days.
Why do you ask?

Well even a baby born at 40 weeks could possibly have complications. But there have been many 38 weekers that are completely fine.

I had my Son at 40 weeks 2 days. I was induced for pre-e and more than likely would've gone longer than that if I hadn't been induced.

37 weeks is actually "term". 40 weeks is "full-term".

I had my oldest at 38 weeks and 4 days...I went into spontaneous labor.
I had my second at 37 weeks and 1 day...I was induced. Both were just fine, breathing on their own and had no problems. So all in all, if you went into spontaneous labor at 38 weeks, yes your baby would be fine. But, don't jump onto the "induction wagon" if there is no medical reason.
