When to eat?

Ok so I've seen alot of post saying eat really early in the morning, like as soon as you wake up.
But I've seen alot of websites saying wait until you're hungry to eat so you know your body is digesting everything from the day before.

Also do you need to wait until you're physically hungry to eat? I've been eating like 6 times a day for 2 months and I've noticed I'm rarely physically hungry. I used to only eat twice a day but I ate loads of crap in those two times. I ALWAYS finished my plate, no matter how full I was (Horrid I know)

So ladies when is it best to eat?

When you first wake up is best, it gets your metabolism started for the day. Although I think its hard to eat when I first wake up, I am not hungry at all!

Not sure when its BEST to eat. But I have heard eat 5 or 6 small meals a day.

But I eat only when I'm hungry. & I only eat to the point where I'm NOT hungry anymore, not to the point of being totally full.

Eat as soon as you wake up, unless you are doing extensiveexercise, like running. (As you may get cramps, so just have like a protein bar and then a proper breakfast when you get home)
Yourmetabolismisasleepall night doing nothing, so as soon as you eat it wakes up and starts going to work, so eat as soon as you get up.
Food is not suppose to be a pleasure (textbook) it is for nutrition. There is no need to wait until you are hungry to eat. Especially if you are eating 6 small meals a day. Sounds like you are on a perfect track, the reason you are not 'getting hungry' is because you aresatisfyingyour hunger before it attacks. (Which is exactly what you want to do, it will help you eat the right foods and not too much food)

I'm nevr hungry when I wake up. I don't get hungry until I've been up for at least 2 hours. So I hate eating early.

Thats what I wonder, like what if you don't get hungry 6xs a day? Like I think I'm actually hungry on a max of 3 or 4 times.

I say eat when you feel like you should, maybe somewhere in the middle. For me I usually can't eat first thing in the morning, but I don't like to wait until I am hungry either, because then I tend to grab something quick that isn't always the best choice. So I usually eat about 45 min after I have been awake, after I have taken care of the baby and he is content then I can make and eat my breakfast

Ahhh ok, I'm just confused because I just finished a book that says if you eat before you're hungry you just add the food on top of food that hasn't been digested fully. So our body just stores it as fat.

Well if I eat at home its oatmeal, if I eat at work its usually friut or yogurt. I just have no clue when to eat lol.

If you start by eating small things over a weeks time and then have a simple breakfast like a cup of Multi grain Cheerios with skim milk and a slice ofcantaloupe....Iguaranteeyou, you will start waking up craving your breakfast.

Not true if you are eating the right foods, in the right protions. You need food for fuel. The more fuel you have the more you can burn. The more you burn, the more you lose

I have been a little lately, but I notice that if I don't eat as soon as I wake up for a while I stop craving breakfast. Like I've been slacking this past week so this morning I wasn't hungry.
