My son is 13 days old. He is goopy white stuff coming out of his right eye only and he just projectile vomited about 3 ounces all over me, the floor, and the wall. Anyone experienced anything like this?

Wait until he is hungry again and if it happens again or if he isnt having enough wet diapers then bring him in. No Fever right?
The goopy eye is probably clogged tear ducts.

The eye stuff could be an eye cold. Maddie got those a lot as a newborn/infant.

The vomiting could of just been a fluke. I'd wait til morning and see how he's doing and then call his pedi.

Give my Max a big o' smoochie for me!! <3

Yea my son started projectile vomiting, and he ended up needing surgery for pyloric stenosis.. it usually shows up between 7-9 weeks though.. If he keeps doing it you need to take him to the hospital.. projectile vomit isnt normal.. it could easily be lots of different things though

His eye sounds like a blocked tear duct. Take warm cotton balls and wipe his eye as needed.
As far as the spitting up, does he have Slow-Flow Nipples? He may be eating way too fast. My daughter did it for about 2 days every time she ate and we switched the nipples and now she only spits up a tiny bit every now and again and that's normal.

Yeah, I think that's what it is. He has slow flow nipples, but he only gets about 2 bottles a day, he's mostly BF'd. He usually hardly ever spits up.

If he has only spit up once that much, that's pretty normal as well. He probably ate too fast. If he continues to do that all of the time, it may be Reflux.

Yeah, hs is almost gone now. My pedi said it should go away in one to two days and if not let him know because there are special eye drops he'll need to prescribe. No, just normal amounts of spit up now.
