i know cerebal palsy was from like not enough oxygen, how come coming too early causes that!?!?!

Many babies who are born early can't breath on their own. Which would be lack of oxygen. There can be many reasons though.

My son was born at 32wks, weighed 4.6lbs. He is a happy healthy 16month old now (weighing in at 31lbs and almost 3ft tall) His only issue is he has some breathing problems, he is on Flovent twice a dayand albuterol, when needed.

so i just had my son aug.28th i wasnt due until nov 20th..i had him at 28 weeks he was 3lbs 3 ounces at birth and 16 inches long..hes still in the NICU   i'm 19 and this is kinda hard for me doctors told me he has down syndrome and a heart condition...

I was a 25 weeker and my son was born 24 weeks 6 days

My LO was born at 35 weeks. He weighed 4 lb 10 oz.

I had my angel yesterday at 34wks 5 days. Lil fighter!

I had twins April 10 2009. I was 30 weeks exactly. Sean was 4 lbs, Fiona was 2 lbs 7 oz.

29 weeks and 3 days on october 6 this year weighing 3lbs2oz..........he's still in the hospital...........we're waiting for him to grow, get bigger, get over his spells, and learn how to feed without the ng tube
