My baby died...I was breasfeeding..Can I get pregnant?

I have a question though. I was breastfeeding my son. No formula at all. I dont know if its too soon or not, but I want to get pregnant again... just cant see myself not being a mommy.... I still never got my period.. can I get pregnant now?

im so sorry for your loss.

you could get pregnant on your first cycle which would be 2 weeks before your period would come, but there's no telling when that would be.

you can get pregnant even if you are bfing.

Im so sorry for your loss, but yes, you can get pregnant even if you were breastfeeding. However, without having a period yet, it might be difficult to pinpoint when you are ovulating.

I can't even imagine the pain you are going through...I'm so sorry

you can use ovulation predictors. that is probably the best way to do it if you have not gotten a period.

OPKs are the only thing I can think oft if you want to get pregnant right away. You will need to buya bulk lot off of ebay though to keep it fairly cheap since you will have to test everyday to know. I got like 50 OPKs for 12 bucks when we were TTC.

I'm so sorry.

My sister got pregnant a couple weeks after she stopped BFing. She hadn't gotten a period yet either. It's possible.

She also got pregnant (by accident) after losing a baby and mentally it wasn't the right thing for her. She had a hard time accepting her new baby while still mourning the loss of her other. I'm not knocking your choice. I just wanted to let you know it might be incredibly hard on you.

I'm so sorry honey. I can't imagine what you are going through. I'm sure it's shock at this point. You can get pregnant this early if you want to.... If you want to talk/hang out. I'm an hour away. *e-hugs*
