Aww your lucky. The first few weeks were so hard for me because I wasnt use to getting woken up every 3 hours. A few times I fell asleep with him on my chest   Luckily nothing happened and I soon learned that the Tv would be my new late night best friend.

Hi.
Skyler is 2 months old today. He can blow bubbles with his spit haha, smiles, laughs, squeals, ....rolls over from tummy to back both ways, goes to sleep at 9pm and wakes up at 6am. He can hold things in his hands but can't pick them up. I didn't know that was possible yet, lol. And he scoots himself with his legs while having tummy time even though he doesn't know what he's doing, it looks like an inch worm. He can't stand to be still.

I've never seen this thread before. lol. Jordan was born August 5th weighing 6.7 lbs and 19in.She just got her 2mo vacc last Monday and no fever, some fussiness at night but that's normal for her. lol, she only had colic until 6w when I switched her to soy, and she's fine now.She is now 21in and weighs 13.5lbs!!!! Last night was the first time she slept from 8pm-745am! I woke up 2times! Her pedi says 3mo i can try solids, for the past two days i gave her ricecereal off a spoon and she takes the spoon. i don't want to give her more than once a day bc i don't want her tummy upset. she eats 4oz every 2hours. She babbles herself to sleep, and babbles my ear off, smiles constantly, and when on her back she can roll onto her side. she spits bubbles with her spit too. anyone elses baby eat off spoon yet, or you haven't tried?

I wish my could have ricecereal on a spoon, even though it wouldn't be possible...because they believe he has Pyloric Stenosis, which is a lower stomach defect that means that he can't keep food down and put on body fat...heis 9 weeks old and only 9 pounds...my pedi doesn't listen or care so we are finding a new one next week. at his 2 month appointment we didn't get shots because if he is sick, then it will only make him worse, but we have to go in the morning to get tests done to find out....

yeah, we are changing as soon as we get the test results back, lol. but if he does have it then he will have to have surgery, so i'm kinda worried.

I just came across this thread lol Sophie was born August 18, she was 2wks late but the drs all said she was perfect. She was born 8lbs 10oz 19" long. Before we leftthe hospital she was 7lbs 10oz thenshewent up to 7lbs 14oz. The following week she was 8lbs 4oz.@ her 2month appt on Oct. 26th she was 10lbs 22 1/2"long. She has to go back to the dr on the 23rd of this monthbecause 3wks ago I had to have my gull baldder taken out unexpectedly so she had to go to formula for 5days and we're getting back to nursing, but she still takes a 4oz bottle after nursing-sometimes so her dr. just wants to check her weight. She's slept through the night from the first night home. She's picked her head up off my chest from the moment she was born, and does it more n more everyday. She loves to sit up, if you lay her down she cries, but sit her up n shes happy! Sometimes I swear she's gonna flip outta her bouncy because she's sitting up so far. In the hospital the nurses couldn't believe how alert and content she was. She is alert as ever, constantly looking around-has become a tv addict(when its on, she tries everything she can to see it). Each day she is making more and more noises. She can pretty much say BOO and we're working on HO HO. Also she has smiled from day one, and is doing it more and more every day, especially in the morning. Over the past week n 1/2 she has discovered her hands and toes(although cant quite fig. out how to get the toes)she lays in her bassenett and plays with her hands before she falls asleep and when she wakes up. I've wanted to try giving her a taste of things like apple sauce n things but I've thought it's kind of early, but today my dad let her suck on a sucker for a min. I was nervous about it, but him n my step-mom said it was fine and that its fine to give her a taste of apple sauce but idk. I see some of you have started giving ricecereal, did you just do it or ask your drs? And because I'm nursing my dr. ordered some flouride drops to start giving herI thinkafter 2months, but I forgot what she said so I'm going to ask in a few wks...anybody else use them?
