Mommy's that have 2 or more children.

I am just now accepting that fact that i'm pregnant and that we have another one on the way. This will be baby number 2, and Noah will almost be 2 years old (only one month after) the new baby is born. I have some questions.

I know it's different for everyone, but i just want your experiences.

-Was your second pregnancy easier or harder?
-Did you get bigger the second time around, did you get bigger faster?
-Was labor any easier since you knew what to expect?
-How old was your LO, when the second one was born?

So far, this pregnancy is 100% different. Way harder on me.I got bigger A LOT faster haha. I am basically the size I was when I was 36 weeks right now and I am 28 weeks. Kailee will be 22ish months when McKenna is born.

The labor will probably be very different. I am having a VBAC. So it will be interesting.

-Was labor any easier since you knew what to expect? repeat c-section, just as scary as the first one.
-How old was your LO, when the second one was born? 2 weeks shy of 2 years old

Was your second pregnancy easier or harder? Easier for me. I had no morning sickness and virtually felt like I was not pregnant the entire pregnancy.
-Did you get bigger the second time around, did you get bigger faster? Nope. The first time I gained 50+ lbs. This time I only gained 20.
-Was labor any easier since you knew what to expect? No, because unlike the Duggars, it is not an everyday occurrence. It did go quicker though. My first was 4 hour of labor and 22 minutes of pushing. This time was 1 hr and 55 minutes later I had my baby girl.
-How old was your LO, when the second one was born? 5 1/2 yrs old.

My second pregnancy was just as easy as my first. No morning sickness, very few aches or pains. I felt great.

I actually didnt get as big with my second, and she was a pound smaller and four days later than my first.   I didnt gain quite as much weight either.

Yes labor was easier, 4 hours instead of 8... and very easy pain wise. I had her at home, in the water and I had like THREE hard contractions. (transition) The whole labor.
It was a wonderful easy birth.

They were 2 1/2 years apart.

-Was your second pregnancy easier or harder? For me is was harder, because I already had one child to care for, and had to try and find a sitter for all the dr's appts I had. Then I had a placental abruption, and was put on bed rest.
-Did you get bigger the second time around, did you get bigger faster? I was about the same size. I think I started showing sooner though.
-Was labor any easier since you knew what to expect? I did not experience labor, for I had a repeat cesarean.
-How old was your LO, when the second one was born? My son was 2 1/2 when out daughter was born.

i haven't lived the half of it yet, but i can tell you my experience so far.

i got pregnant when my daughter was 10 months old. this pregnancy has been very hard. i still have to be on it 24/7 for her, which was hard when i was nauseous/vomiting/exhausted. it's hard for me to keep up with her physically and i can't hold her for very long anymore. i've gained less weight with this baby. i would say i'm probably the same in size, just shaped differently. i was more torpedo like with my first. this one i'm round. both girls. my first will be 19 months old when her sister is born. good luck girl   it won't be easy by any means, but you will make it through!

my 2nd was harder, as i was a lot older, and had more complications.

i actually stayed smaller til the end, then blew up bigger than i was with my oldest

-Was labor any easier since you knew what to expect?
dunno, i had a c-section both times.

-How old was your LO, when the second one was born?

-Was your second pregnancy easier or harder? It was the same, morning sickness all the way, and heartburn too (they both have heads full of hair)..
-Did you get bigger the second time around, did you get bigger faster? I got bigger faster, since my body already knows what to do.. I think I was about the same size with our first..
-Was labor any easier since you knew what to expect? yes, it was pretty much easy, I just knew I was going to have our second one when I got the labor pains and symptoms and I was able to tell, This is it!
-How old was your LO, when the second one was born? My older son just turned 1 when our second son was born...
