It helped me some. I was told by an LC to take 3 capsules, 3x per day. It didn't make my baby fussy.

I've heard varied results with it (haven't taken it myself since I don't have supply issues), but you do have to take enough for it to work. Have you checked out kellymom for dosage information?

they aren't too bad. I did totally smell maple-y the whole time I was on them though....but it was sort of nice to smell like maple rather then BO during the summer LOL

I took them for quite a while and stopped when I just didn't feel like paying 9 bucks a bottle anymore and it didn't seem like it was helping me increase anymore.

Blessed thistle, and alfalfa are also good at increasing milk supply. You can also drink chocolate malted ovaltine, or carnation malted milk. Anything with malted barley.

I went through milk supply hell LOL

I was taking two 3 times a day. It seemed like it was working a little, then suddenly I had a few days of very low supply. I stopped taking them then. I might try them again though since the low supply could have been from drinking one night, not sure.

I got a really good deal on mine, 6 bottles (100 pills each) for less than $15.

Use a coupon from here (they have a 10% off til 10/20):

When you start an account on the vitamin site they give you a coupon code for $5 off. I think it's in your account info somewhere.
FYI I got 3 swanson brand and 3 nature's way, prices and quantities allowed seem to have changed since I ordered. Still cheap!

Hope I can use these again cause I still have like 5 and a quarter bottles, lol.

Oh, and I didn't notice that it made Ziggy fussy. He actually seemed more content, at least at feeding time.

And I did smell a little like syrup but not much. I think only I could smell it. And it smells more like brown sugar to me, yum.
