Look about 5 or 6 months pregnant....

posted 16th Oct
I'll be 2 weeks pp on Sunday, and I still look about 5 or 6 months pregnant. I lost 20 pounds last I checked which was last Saturday (I don't own a scale) But I hate this tummy. Before pregnancy I was 108 pounds!!! During pregnancy I gained ALOT I got up to 169!!!!! I am going to start running after I talk to my doctors and start a work out video...is there any safe work outs other then walking I can do before then??? I don't think looking 5 or 6 months preg after 2 weeks is normal! My friend told me she fit in her reg clothes 1 week after baby.

Its normal give it time and wait until your 6 week checkup relax and enjoy your baby the weight will fall off.

Completely normal. Some womens uterus's take more time to "deflate" than others.

Your friend must be a freak of nature lol. I think it takes most women some time to lose the weight.

Don't get upset!! Most women don't get into their skinny jeans for a while. Your friend either didn't gain as much weight as you, or she is lying to you. I seriously didn't look like I was just pregnant when I walked out of the hospital and I couldn't fit in my skinny jeans until about a month or so afterwards. You have to understand that it takes 9 months to gain the weight and just about that long to loose it. I haven't lost all my baby weight and I am going on 12 mon pp. I don't need to loose all the weight though. I gained 30 and lost 20. I was 100 to start off with.

My advice to you is watch what you are eating and exercise somewhat. You really don't want to overdue it in the beginning. Sometimes the doctors tell you to wait about 6 weeks pp. Don't worry. The weight will come off..

Im not thin n I didn't gain any weight during my last pregnancy, in fact I lost 10 lb after having my baby n I fit in my regular clothes right after having my son but I gain 10 lb I noticed when last week I weight myself at Publix. So every woman is different just be pattience and enjoy ur baby!!!

Totally normal. I weighed the same leaving the hospital as I did going in.
I'm 13 weeks pp and just now starting to lose actual weight (not just water). I still looked pregnant for two months or so, and I still have a little belly although now I just look plain fat, lol. All of my non-preggo jeans are packed away!!!
Everybody is different, don't listen to your friend. I had to stop looking at pp pics on here because most of the girls look better than I ever did. : P I don't think you can work out yet but try carrying your baby in a sling or wrap. That extra weight while walking will help a lot and it's easy.

3 weeks pp and I still look 5 months. =( I was 100 pounds before pregnancy with a flat stomach and now I love my lower body because I have actual hips and a butt lol I never had that before...but I just HATE my tummy. =(
It was well worth it for my little man though.
