max's rash is...

not going away!

okay, so-- the background is: ever since we came back from our one month trip to austria, max has had this rash-- it's very subtle mostly, not even discolored, just little bumps (some of them are pink and bigger) that i've been dismissing as a heat rash. but it's been there for well over a month now.

we've changed all the bedding he sleeps on and otherwise, have no idea what it could be.

it's all over his tummy and back... and he has the same sort of thing a little bit under his nose on the left side (weird, eh?).

it doesn't seem to be painful or itchy at all.

anyone have any idea what it is?

I would def call the doc. Although heat rash can stay for a very long time. Have noticed that it disappears maybe after bathtime and reappears the next day and you may think it's never going away?

no, there's nothing wrong w/ him whatsoever... it's not worth a visit to the doctor.

Webmd scares me. I usually have 3 types of cancers and a heart attack, everytime I check my symptoms.

I'm still stuck on the fact that y'all got to visit Austria for a month. I'm so jealous right now....

Ok...so did it show up while you were there?

hmmm... it may be happening like that.

it's hard to say.

the kid sweats like none other, so that's why i'm prone to thinking it's just a heat rash.

but it's weird, b/c he never had it before we went to austria-- ran around naked all of august in austria, and then put him back in clothes when he got home and he's had it pretty much ever since.

My son is kind of bumpy sometimes, in random areas. The pedi never said anything, I don't think it is a reaction. He doesn't mind it so I'm not concerned except I don't like the feel of it.

I have a feeling it isn't a big skin condition, I think my LO might just have sensitive skin since he is a baby & all (ok, toddler so less baby-ish but I am not letting that go!). I don't think it is detergent or fabric, it just IS. Maybe I am just too used to it...
