Bombs, no. My SO was shot at several times and was severely lacerated by a knife wound to the chest. He saw many many people die in front of his eyes and they weren't usually old people either. Is it like war, no it's not but it's terrifying to be on the phone with your SO and have him scream someones shooting then hang up wondering WHERE are they shooting? WHO are they shooting at? Why is HE in the middle? But who is anyone to say who can worry about what?

OMG pleassse tell the vets how bad it must be not to have electricity or running water! My grandpa would laugh at you SO hard.

I'm not saying it's pleasant at all that really sucks, but don't be so dramatic!

If they say it was his choice to sign up deal with it then i can say to them " Your husband picked his job that would take him away sometimesas well so you deal with it." Either way Being married to the military is way harder than civilian marriage. I would know I married a marine
