How Long

My son has a slight temp of 99.6 and I gave him a bit of infant motrin. My question is, How long do I wait after giving him the motrin to check him temp again?. Thanks ladies

I'd give it an hour or so. That's what we do at work with the babies.

ETA: Is that the highest his temp was? You don't normally have to give them anything unless it's over 100.4.. and usually not Motrin until 102-ish.

My daughter had a tempertaure of 101 this morning and that was at 7 am. And by 8:30 it was gone. She had one of 99 at the pedi yesterday but he said its not a concern.
