Food Assistance Question

During a phone interview for food assistance what does the interview consist of? they said it could take an hour.  

I had one today. didn't even take 15 minutes---they ask you who's in your house--how many kids you have--how much income you make---simple shit.

Do they let you know if you are accepted or do they send a letter later on or something?

Basically just taking down basic information.
Names, SSN, jobs, expenses, etc.
It didn't take me an hour.

Food stamps? They will ask your income/assets/bills/people in homethat is mainly it then you will have to send in check stubs and letters from people who help you copies of bank statements for 90 days and any child support paperwork, a lease copy and electricity statement

they send you a letter in about 30 days

She told me all i have to do is to the office and submit my husbands last paycheck stubs that that's all.....it's probably different stuff needed for everyone though..It takes up to 30 days after you submit all the info--unless you qualify for Emergency food stamps

They sent me a letter.
I had to wait forever for it, but I had a few problems.
