swine flu shot

posted 15th Oct
I was just wondering what everyone is doing. Are you getting the shot or no? What is the reason you chose to or the reason you chose not to? Thanks

Personally, I'm not, because it's too new. Who knows the long term effects of it, and plus, it wasn't tested enough.

i am TERRIFIED of getting either the flu or swine flu shot.
i really don't know whats real and whats fake, but i've heard that 28 pregnant woman have died from getting the swine flu shot.
my doctor keeps telling me i SHOULD get the flu shot, because its best for me AND the baby but i'm just so scared of getting sick because of it.

its really up to you.
i feel that if i don't get the shot, then im going to end up getting sick or something bad is going to happen.
i guess i just have to go with my heart, you know?

I dont think I will be getting it nor my lo. I personally fear it will have serious side effects and Im pro vaccines. It's just that it was made way too quick.

My daughter got it today... If I was pregnant I would, just a couple weeks ago a pregnant woman died of it here. She left 3 kids behind. Her doctor refused to give her tamiflu because they said it would hurt the baby and she didn't make it.

The swine flu vaccine came out the first time in the 70s or 80s....my hubby's coworker got it, and got hepatitis and kidney problems from it.

I can't remember the exact statistics, but it was something like...82 people died from swine flu and 2500 died from complications from the vaccine.

hell no i'm not getting it.

We are NOT getting it. It's too new, and some doctor's have claimed it could be even more dangerous than the flu itself.

From the people I've heard who have had swine flu, it's not worse than getting the regular flu. So, I'd rather take my chances with getting sick, then risk possible complications from a new vaccine.

this is not the same vaccine though since this is a new strand

Nope. neither me or my son is getting it.

Its just a "guess" anyways. So why put medicine in my body that is just a "guess" & not a for sure thing.
Its pointless IMO.
