baby and food stamps

If you get food stamps are you supposed to call and let them know when you have a baby?

yeah you have to go in and fill out a change report and add a person to your household. They'll give you as much for the baby as they would for an adult, which is kind of silly IMO, but hey I don't run the place. My SIL has 3 kids and gets as much for all 3 of hers as she gets for her boyfriend and herself. They get like $500 a month
