formula question

I've had aiden on enfamil premium since he turned a month old, so about two weeks now. I got on wic and they only supply similac advance. Is it going to upset his tummy to switch?

It might, it might not.
If it does, have his pediatrician right a note to WIC and they will switch it.

No... you but you won't til you try it. I switched Kiley's a couple times and she was fine with all except Good Start (that's what WIC gives us down here). My daughter is on Similac Advance right now and she's soo chunky and eats so much! Lol

maybe at first, but if he has never had any problems before then I doubt it.
If you want you could ask them to switch you to similac sensitive. At least my WIC office provides that kind too

Yeah, they offer Similac Advanced, Similac Sensitive and Similac Isomil.

OP, your LO should be fine. If not, I would really opt for the Sensitive.

i thought WIC only has enfamil now. atleast here thats how it goes

They used to only provide enfamil here but now they only provide Similac

I think every state must be different as to what they offer

Hey, you're in Texas too! lol Each year WIC sets a contract with either Nestle, Similac, or Enfamil. This year Texas gets Similac, but it's different from state to state depending on who their contract is with.


And OP, it may upset his tummy, it may not. We had to switch Gracie's formula a total of three times (per her pedi's orders)before we got to the Similac Sensitive RS which helps with her GERD.

every state is different. mine only offers similac alimentum if you get a doctor's note for it. otherwise, they give you goodstart.

Yeah that's weird cause they gave me enfamil because I was feeding her that. The only difference is that it's not premium.

I know in NM they offer enfamil and here in GA it's similac advance. Thanks everyone we'll just see what happens
