Circumcision Recovery

My baby boy had his circumcision 2 weeks ago, he had is check up last week and is healing really well and the plasibell fell off about 10 days ago. I asked my pedi. last week if I could give him his first real bath but she said to wait awhile until the swelling goes down. Do you guys think one week is sufficient? How long after your baby's circumcision did you give them a bath in a tub?

I think I waited about a week after the bell-thing fell off. Their lil pee-pee was all healed up when I did give them a real bath.  

hmm Hunter didn't get the little ring thing... his was all healed in about 5 days so it was healed before his umb. cord fell off. He got his first bath when he was 11 days old

We started giving real baths at about 2 weeks old when the um. cord fell off, but we didn't get the plasti bell done...

Will gets a bath every night now, helps calm him and I make sure to rub tons of lotion on him so his skin doesn't dry out.

I waited a week my lil mans plastibell and umbilical cord stump fell off the same night and I still kind of sponge bathed him for another week cause Iw as so nervous.
