Women who have had Abortions.

So my biggest fear is confirmed, i am in fact pregnant.

I haven't told my fiance yet, because i'm terrified of his reaction. I want another child so bad, but it's not the right time in our lives and it would not be fair for me to have another child right now. I only have a part time job, we do not have a stable place to live, i have no insurance, Noah is only 14 months old, and we are barely scraping by money wise with just one child, i can't even imagine how we could take care of another one. I've been crying all day i just need some answers and possibly some support.

I plan on calling Planned Parenthood in the morning and setting up an appointment to talk to a Doctor about terminating the pregnancy. I have so many questions though. I'm guessing that i am around 5 weeks pregnant dating from my last period, how do they terminate a pregnancy? Is it a pill? Is ita surgery? Does it hurt? How did you handle it emotionally? Is it expensive?

I'm really scared and i really could use some help/answers, please if you have something negative to say, i can't handle it right now.

I have a friend that took the abortion pill at around 6 or 7 weeks. she said it was like a really heavy period with cramping and everything. I, myself, have never been in that situation so idk. Good luck though!

Well, I've never had an abortion. I'm definatly not against them tho. But if you chicken out and not want to, you know there is always adoption  

Ive never had an abortion but I wish you luck in whatever you decide. Please talk to your SO before you do anything drastic, just to see how he feels about it all. good luck and god bless.

I have never had one myself but I do know several woman that have and from what I understand it is not a very pleasant experiance, neither physically or emotionally! Best wishes to you, I think you have to be absolutely 100% sure that is what you want to do though!

To me, Adoption is not a choice. I could never carry a baby for 9 months and bond with it and grow to love it - and give it away.

I am so sorry you have to make this decision. I had an abortion 5 years ago... it was a very difficult situation. I was about 5 weeks along. They gave me the option of doing it surgically or taking a pill.
I chose the pill. I believe I took one pill orally and one had to be inserted vaginally. It was very painful, like a very very bad period. The bad part about taking the pill is they make you do it yourself so I was alone at home.
Make the decision that is right for you and your family, don't let anyone make you feel guilty or bad about it. If you have any questions let me know.

I know people who have had abortions and 9 out of 10 times they end up regretting it. Just be sure its what you really want to do. its a lot of guilt to take on your whole life if you do end up regretting it.

I got pregnant again when my first was only 6 months old. We weren't ready either and we struggled a bit at first but now we are actually doing really good and making it all on our own. Maybe you should talk to your fiance first?

I have never had one and dont know how you feel right now. i just learned that you can take a pill or do surgery i guess the cost depends on where you live.
have you thought about adoption? i bet that would be even harder on you tho?! I hope you can make it through this hang in there and best wishes to you with whatevver your choice is... hang in there.. 

First off, I'm sorry you are having to deal with this. It's not an easy decision, but you should be commended for recognizing limitations.

I have had 2 abortions, both of them were before 8 weeks. It's not technically a surgery because you aren't put to sleep or anything. It was about as uncomfortable as a pap smear. The earlier you go, the easier it is on your body.
