Pregnant After Infertility

I'm just starting a thread for women that had to face a long struggle to get pregnant to have a place to come and talk. I know it's nice to have people to talk to that understand the excitement and thrill of FINALLY being pregnant, as well as the fears that come from being infertile for so long.

So go ahead and post your story! Anyone can join up no matter where in your pregnancy you are at or if you experienced infertility after already having children. The only thing that I ask is that you were TTC for over a year before getting pregnant.

Anyone still enduring their infertility journey are more than welcome to join up! We're still here to support you and we can't wait until you join us on the next step on the road to motherhood.

I'm not pregnant now, but I just want to congratulate all of the ladies that are pregnant after struggling with infertility! It'll be my turn soon!

I'm not pregnant now, but I did have the heart ache of infertility. My DH and I were TTC for 4 years without any success until we were able to do IVF.

Congratulations on your BFPs and for anyone who is TTC I wish you tons of baby dust.

 

I'm Anya and I'm 20 years old. We were TTC for a little over 2 years. I'm diagnosed with PCOS with IR. My SO was diagnosed with a low sperm count. We also suffered through 2 miscarries.

This cycle I took 100mg of Clomid, 2000mg Metformin, and we did a IUI. Today (14dpo) I found out I'm pregnant beta 44.3.

I'm due June 18th.

I had a fosterparent.. she was told she couldn't having children when she was 20. and she was married for ten years.. no birth control.. but She found out she was pregnant at the age of 36. and she's had 2 more children since.

June 18th really seems to be a popular day to be born on. Tons of people have told they have a birthday on the 18th. My ex's birthday is the 18th! Lol

I'm Rachael, will be 23 the end of this month. My husband and I were TTC for 26 months before FINALLY conceiving our little miracle. I was diagnosed with PCOS and stage 4 Endometriosis in May 2008, and a Progesterone deficiency in May 2009. We did 6 failed cycles of Clomid, 2 failed cycles of Clomid + 2000mg of Metformin. Our miracle maker was on our first cycle on Femara, Metformin, and Progesterone Suppositories.

aww I'm glad she finally got her miracles...I can't imagine enduring that pain for that long!

Meg your story still brings tears to my eyes. I can't wait until you conceive again!

i've been dying to post this since I got my BFP.

I know it sometimes feels as if it will never happen for you and it can really hurt. I know it's hard to keep the faith that it will happen, but try to stay hopeful (cause without hope what do we have?) Good luck and baby dust!

I've been looking at that set, I think they're so cute! We already have a nice bouncer but I like the play pen and the swing and stuff in that style.
