This is a 6 months long challenge and you must follow through if you are to join even if its not going well, this is a support group for women with a goal to lose weight in 6 months in a healthy and safe manner, we will help keep each other motivated to keep going and do the best that we can. It doesn’t matter if you reach your goal or not what matters is that you are trying and making the initiative to be healthy and fit and lose weight and feel good andyou will be a winner no matter what the outcome.
Also if you are breastfeeding you should not be cutting back on calories just watch what you eat, please remember that when breastfeeding you need at least 300-500 calories more than what you would usually eat.

Part one – to be done before Oct 15, 2009

#2 --- Make sure your profile is set to public and add me as a friend On theFitdaywebsite so we support each there as well and cheer each other on, once I have seen you have added me that guarantees you a spot for this 6 month challenge support group. My username is aquarius_woman
#3--- Once your profile is set up, go to the "weight goal" tab and set up your goal, you can do this right away or you can wait until Oct 15. Remember Start date is Oct 15, 2009 and End date is Apr 15, 2010.
#4 --- Pledge to accept your slips and cheats and don’t feel guilty about them
#5 --- Respect everyone we are all in this together for 6 months
#6 --- Be supportive that is what we are here for to support in anyway we can with no judgments
#7 --- Don’t make excuses. You are the only person who is holding yourself back from accomplishing your goal. It’s okay if you don’t feel like working out one day or eating something you are not supposed to but bounce back and continue with your 6 month plan.
#8 --- Take a rest day at least once a week
#9 --- Most of all HAVE FUN! Please accept yourself and love yourself for who you are and what your body looks like because you are beautiful now matter what you look like and you can do anything you set your mind to

This is my first time posting this type of support topic so I am hoping its not to complicated and works out because otherwise I will be doing this by myself lol
I am still debating whether or not if there should be some sort of prize at the end…I will think about it more.

About me:
I am married with 3 children and I am currently on Mat leave until next July. I had my 3rd child just 6 weeks ago now by c-section. I gained 65 lbs while I was pregnant which put me at 215lbs when I had my babyand I have already lost just over half my pregnancy weight (36lbs). I am very active, the past 6 weeks was tough on me having to sit around and recover when all I wanted to do was enjoy the rest summer. But now I am able to exercise again and that makes me very happy lol.
Weight loss plan:
I am breastfeeding so I am not too concerned about cutting calories but I am not going to just pig out either lol. I am going to watch what I eat, portion my food, no caffeine basically as healthy as possible. I am going to be walking everyday and take one day rest each week. Then eventuallystart on the postpartum program I posted on the original post. That’s it for now I want to talk to my doctor first before I do anything else besides walking. Walking (lots of it)has always been very helpful in losing my pregnancy weight so I am not too concerned about do too much more than that right now.

About me: I am a fairly new mommy =] to a 2month old little girl. She is my pride and joy. I live with my boyfriend/baby daddy and my lil dog splinter. ...oh and I am a stay at home mommy for now.
Excercize plan: I plan on walking my dog 3 times a day along with taking my daughter for our normal walks. I am ususlly out and about shopping ect. I also have time while she is sleeping to do my richard simons videos! HAHA and trust me they work. Other than that i plan on trying to eat right [im a very very picky eater] and drink lots of water.

I'm a busy person, i go to school full time and also work. I have a 19 month-old son named Nathan. I'm single. and I want to look and feel good!
For exercise, I plan on going to the gym (YMCA) and doing cardio a few days a week and maybe throw in some weight training if i get brave. Also I do yoga twice a week.

I am currently a stay at home mom to 2 kids. My youngest is 7 months and my oldest is 2 years. I am happily married. I used to be really small before kids but after 2 I dont feel that great about the way I look anymore.
For excercise I plan on doing a video I have at home atleast 5 days a week, Plus an hour of working out including crunches and arm curls. I also plan on cutting out all sodas and trying to eat healthier which will be hard for me because I am also very picky.

7.im a mommy of three girls. i gave birth to my twin girls Angelina and Jana Ina on feb. 5th...Ina passed on the 6th, not even after 12 hours... and Angie grew wings on the 15th. i fell into huge depression, and now im slowly trying to find the way out-and working on myself.
8. i will start runing again...and ill walk to the university every day... maybe ill even start to swim... and ill try to cut off the coffe..cigaretts...and start to drink a bit more water.

My little man was born June 18th and has changed our lives so much! I couldnt imagine life with out him! My huband and I both work for the same offshore oil and gas company in Houston, Tx. We have been together for 11yrs this november and married for 4 yrs this December. I am so ready to loose this weight from my pregnancy I think about it every day!
My plan for the next 6 months is to really become aware of what I put in mymouth as well as exercise regularly. My husband and I go at lunch time, he jogs and I rollerblade 3 miles Mon-Thursday. Then I hope to get to the gym Friday-Sunday.
