Does your 2 yr old sleep w/a pillow?

My son is turning two this week and I'm considering letting him try a pillow in his bed. He's been a poor sleeper since day one (never slept more than 2 or 3 hrs in a row) and when he comes into our bed every night around 1am, he sleeps on the pillow beside me. I'm wondering if he might sleep better with a pillow in his own bed? I'm nervous about giving him a pillow for safety reasons. Do any of your toddlers sleep with a pillow? If so, is ita special kind?

Kailee has had a pillow since 13 months. She is 19 months now.

ETA: Just a regular pillow, nothing special.

My son has had a pillow since before 1.
at 2 years old your child should be able to use one just fine with no suffocation hazard, as they are able to lift things off of their face!

I let my son have a pillow after 12 months.

THe only way i can get Aryanna to sleep through the night is letting her use a pillow. She's been using one since she was about 8 months old, and shes done fine.
When she was a baby i used her boppy but now we just use a regular pilliow and shes 15 mon.

i have a itty bitty pillow on my 15 month olds bed.. she usually throws it off during the night.

My son is 2 and sleeps with a regular pillow. He has had his own pillow since he was around a year old. I buy him the pillow cases with Spongebob and Mickey Mouse, Batman, Spiderman, and Transformers...that kinda thing. He loves his pillow when it has pictures like that on it

my daughter got one when she got in her toddler bed at 20 months. Sometimes she uses it and sometimes she doesn't.

i have co slept since Madalyn was around 8 months and she has slept on one since then

My son is 18months. He falls asleep on one, but not an hour later he is off of it, and sleeps without it through the whole night.

I don't think your a bad mother!   everyone is different.

my son doesnt have an actual pillow, i have a soft and fluffy blanket i've folded so it's a pillow. my son likes it. we'll be getting him a pillow for Christmas i think to go with his toddler bed

I gave him one around 17 months or so? He loved it....

DH took it out because my son sleep on his tummy and the pillow was making his back arch. He said it was bad for him. He sleeps fine without it so I don't bother. I just figured it was comfier.
