my 10 m/o has red cheeks

posted 2nd Oct

My daughter has had red cheecks as you can tell she looks like she is bluching. She has no fever. She is teething, she has very sensitive skin, and our weather is changing and has been windy. She has not been in the wind. She is happy and laughing and playing, IDK why she has red cheecks is something wrong or does she maybe have chapped cheeks. I know my lips are real dry and cracked right now. PLease3 help!!!!

Malia has the same thing, sort of.
IF its not bothering her, its just a normal skin irritation. Which the DR. told me to just wash her face.
Is it bothering her?

Might be stupid, but is she hot? My daughters cheeks turn red when she's hot.

I think I remember reading somewhere that teething can sometimes cause their face to be red because of inflamation but I don't know for sure.

it is 79 degrees outsdide and we have the windows open and she has a bottle of water she is drinking on. Nothing else is warm. Her forhead is a lil warm but not fever and her body is fine.

she her chin is red so i know that is from drooling, I was not sure if maybe she has a teething rash.

That is what I am leaning towards...teething rash. My daughter cheeks got swollen and reddish with the last tooth that came in, but she also had a slight fever... I'd say keep an eye on her and if it doesn't get better or anything else changes in a day or two call your doctor. My doctor is always telling me unless she's acting weird and/or has a fever over 101 she is probably fine.

If she is getting sweaty at all during the day or night that could be causing it. At least thats what my doctor had told me. So he said to wash wash wash. Oh and to enjoy your kids! lmao. Anyways, try that and see how it goes.
