In that case you adda degree. Rectal is the only one you do nothing to.

They didn't want Bellas to get below 97 but you always add a degree under the arm so it is 97.8.

Add a degree for the underarm. I think he's probably ok, if he seems cold, just wrap him up and cuddle him for a little while and then take his temp again.

Take it rectally and see what it is that way. I know they said not to let Bella's get below 97 also.

don't know what the weather is like where you are, but when my preemies came home, I always kept a hat on them. It helps a ton with the temp!

  us too! Bella always had a hat on until she was about 2 1/2 months unless I was taking pictures

I see newborns now and I'm like wow, I can't believe they don't have a hat on that baby...lol. I forget it's not 'normal'.

im in maryland and its gettin cold out i never really took him out during the summer i stay in during the summer as much as i can but i had a hat on him he still has a soft spot so yeah...
