Potty training help

If we are at home then kenzee does an awesome job pt'ing. She will only wear a diaper for naps and bedtime. But the problem is she will only use the potty at home and when she doesn't have bottoms on. She basically runs around all day in a dress. I've tried putting panties on her and she will pee them. How can i help her make the transition to pt'ing with pants on and pt'ing at my parents house, daycare, and out and about?

i wish i could get my little girl to go potty she will sit on the potty but she wont do anything in it. and if i let her run around with nothing she will pee on the floor

Portable potty seat...that way she still uses the big potty but it's her size when you are out in town. We have one for our oldest that we just carry around in a backpack. Also you might try the training underwear. They are a little thicker than regular underwear so they soak up a little more, but still teach them that they need to let someone know when they need to go potty. We didn't get London regular underwear till after she was trained during the day.

with Lydia, i just kept trying once a week to put underwear on her and eventually she didn't pee in them. I did it for a full day each time I tried.

as far as pting at other places....idk cause lyd just did it...I do still have to remind her when we first get places or she'll get playing and she has an accident.

haha yeah same here. she'll sit on the potty then go run in the other room and piss on the floor!

I never pushed kenzee but i would encourage it. I let her run around naked and she peed on the floor many times but eventually learned that she was peeing and how to hold it in til we make it to the potty

She prefers going on the big potty so i always take the seat adapter and we also have a small potty and i take with us. I make sure to show her that they are with us too. Around here the smallest training pants are a 2t and they are huge!!

I would just put the undies on her all the time and elastic waist bottoms so it's easy for her to do herself, and definitely reward her when she does. Don't give her the option of wearing nothing... as for daycare and grandparent's house, that can take some time... it will be alot easier once she learns to go at home. She's doing a good job already! Potty training is tough to get through!

You just keep them in training pants all the time. Take them to the toilet frequently, and keep telling them to tell you when they need to go. Keep a plastic sack handy for wet and dirty pants, and always have a supply of clean ones on hand. They don't like feeling wet in the training pants and eventually they will learn to tell you when they need to go. I did this with all three of my kids and they were all trained within a week.

My little man does the EXACT same thing! He is GREAT, never misses when we are home and he is naked, but he can't live naked and cooped up in our house for the rest of our lives. So...we have come to a potty training stand still. He isn't even 2 yet (will be at the end of this month), so I just kinda assumed he wasn't really ready and backed off a little. I have just been trying here and there to see if we make any progress, but no luck yet!

meh when your kid can undress themselves it is hard to force them to wear clothes.

oh, and we let her run around naked at my parents. and you saw the potty seat we take with us....speaking of I need to clean that and hte backpack today. it was smelling kinda funky

I think at my parents there is always too much going on for her to focus. We tried that wk that we stayed here and she had no interest. She usually hates diapers and we actually bring us one

just come here, Lydia can potty train kenz! So, i finally finished my sister's dress AND hair tie and was about to start your wetbag, when my mom called to see if she could bring over my brother's pants for me to hem...ugh. so now i have to do t hat today.

maybe lydia can pt her if i do sub in lapeer lol. its just crazy how awesome she does at home. My mom suggested giving her a treat also(she gets stickers) but i really dont think she would understand if she only got one reeses pieces, she'd keep asking for more
