no birthday party.. =(

posted 30th Sep
I feel horrible! My sons second birthday is coming up in November and I dont think Im going to have a party for him Mainly because we dont have anywhere to have it. I live with my mom and its wayy too small here. I had my baby shower at my aunts and Bradleys 1st bday party & christening at my nanas but I dont want to ask them to offer their house up again! .. I dont have any money to rent a hall and plus there wouldnt be a great amount of people there anyways. prob like 25. Should I feel this bad?! any advice on what to do?

i wouldn't feel bad. my daughter's going to be 3 in January and that will be her first real birthday party. the years before we just had cake and ice cream and invited a couple of people over.

I live in New England so its pretty cold here & I think hes still too young to have it at plaster fun time or mcdonalds or somewhere.

That sucks about the weather, Georgia's b-day is in feb. and here in Texas the weather will be great, so thats what we are doing. I agree about the mcdonalds.

What about just going to a family friendly restaurant... at that age all their party tends to consist of food, cake, and opening gifts... Most restaurants can accomadate large groups with notice

I just spoke with Bradleys father and said we can have the birthday paty at his parents house. My family doesnt get along with him and my mom is freaking out! Shes like 'well I cant go'.. ohh well even if we did have a party at my familys house Brads father couldnt go. well too bad cuz I would rather have Brads father at his sons bday party.
