smoking

So I have been smoke free since I found out I was pregnant. Quit cold turkey. I've been really good up until now. I have such a strong craving for a cigarrette! Luckily I don't have any in the house and my kids are napping, so there's no way for me to get any. I hope this passes! I WILL NOT smoke while I'm pregnant. I REFUSE! Yes that was me talking myself down. lol.

Sorry, just had to vent.

I was really lucky because smoking made me sick at the beginning of my pregnancy and the smell of smoke still does. I never crave it. Congrats on actually quitting! I know some mamas who don't.  

Sunflower seeds... I've heard they work wonders... lol

I was practically addicted to them just because during my pregnancy... lol

I'm so mad at myself.. because I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant, and about a month after I had my son I started back up! What a waste. Not really a waste because I was healthy for my son!

Thanks ladies. The smell of smoke made me sick with my first two pregnancies. It was easy. This one it doesn't bother me in the least! I wish it did!

Haha, I've had moments like that during pregnancy. I've quit cold turkey both times. In the beginning, it was easy because I had such bad morning sickness. But after that goes away, it gets a little harder. I've even had dreams about smoking a cigarette lol. But I have persevered and will continue to do so. You will too. Stay strong mama!

I've done it everytime! I'm determined not to start smoking again after this one though!

Same here, and I didn't start up smoking again until my son was 9 months old. This time I know I won't start back again. I've always told myself I'd stop smoking before I was 30...and I'll be 30 when this baby is born.

I have a really hard time because my husband smokes. This baby is due in March and we smoke outside (never in the house) so it will start to get nice out and I'll sit outside with him on our patio and talk to him while he smokes a cig. and .....ugh! I can already see this going out the window!

That's what happened to me. My husband started back up. Then it was camping season...nice weather, good times, a fire, and beer make it hard not to bum a cig off someone next to you lol.
