Anyone else have this hair issue?

posted 23rd Sep
This has happened to me 2 times before.
My last trimester of pregnancy and then 1 month PP
I don't remember how long it would last.

My hair, mostly where the roots are growing in, it feels soo greasy and waxy.
I don't know what is causing it.
I wash my hair like I always do and for some reason it's doing this again.
When I dry my hair, the bottom half is soft and healthy looking and then my roots look like I haven't had a shower in 3 months. Greasy and gross......

What could it be?

My hair is like that. I used Head & Shoulders for about a month and now it doesn't happen that often. When it does, I just use conditioner every other day instead of everyday and that seems to help a bit.

I thought about getting that....I just didn't know if it would actually work or not.

I even tried SO's shampoo thinking my hair was just getting sick of the shampoo I use and it seems like it made it worse.

Yup. Head & Shoulders always gets my hair back on track. I always used the "Silky and Smooth" and it made my hair balanced and soft.

if you use retail store shampoo and conditioner it could help to switch to a different kind and when you wash your hair focus on the roots with the shampoo and avoid the roots with your conditioner. hope this helps

I always avoid conditioning my roots.
I condition about 2 inches below my roots.

I'll have to try a new shampoo.

I pour beer over my head in the shower after shampooing, and only condition the ends.
I think it's a mommy thing. ugh.
