October Mom's to be....

Just wondering is any of you are showing any signs of labor?? I know it's pretty early still for most of us... i'm 37 weeks tomorrow & that's about when i lost my mucus plug w/ my son, and i had him exactly 20 days later...... so i'm hoping this time it's about the same.......
I haven't had anything but a few strong contractions here & there, but nothing that would mean anything......

so... anyone?!?

I'm dilated to 3cm,lost my plug last week and been having contractions. I'm not contracting regular though;so nothing special.

how exciting!!! at least you're getting closer!!! I'm ready to have this baby girl!!! i am ALWAYS so uncomfortable, no matter what i'm doing.... oh well! she's worth it

how far apart r ur contractions?

At my 36 week appt they said I was 1cm dilated... they didn't check at my 37 week appt so I don't know if I'm progressing or not. Tomorrow is my 38 week appt so we'll see if they check again. My doctor did tell me that my baby hasn't dropped yet though and I haven't had any contractions yet... least none that I'm aware of. So no signs of labor for me yet. =(

my doctor hasn't checked at all if i'm dialated.... but that's fine, cause i don't like him down there as much as possible! lol!!!
and no matter what, my lil girl will make her appearance when she's damn good & ready.... i just wish it would be sooner rather than later!! i feel like a COW!!!   you got 10 days on me!! i'm sure you'll be seeing your LO very soon!!!

I wouldn't like it either if my doctor was a male, but luckily I got a really awesome female doctor that reminds me a lot of my aunt who lives in Minnesota... which is across the country from me. She left it up to me whether I wanted to get checked or not and this being my first baby, I was really curious as to if anything was happening yet.

yeah.... i kinda got stuck w/ my doctor..... i didn't like that he was a guy, but my husband talked me out of switching doctors a few times..... and he's usually right, so i was afraid to get another doctor just for that reason!! lol!!

he's a good doctor & professional... it's just awkward!!

I just think it's weird when guys want to do a job that involves a woman's personal areas. lol I just consider that area to be meant for one man alone, my man. I'm more comfortable letting out my concerns and worries to a female anyway.

yeah... i felt that way too..... but i'm almost done, so as long as he gets my baby girl out safe & sound, i'll be happy!! if i were to get pregnant again, i'd find someone else right away.....

No signs for me! I'm going Thursday to get my cervix checked for the 1st time. I have a feel I'm dilating cause my pelvis is killing me!

It's so exciting when you find out you are dilating.. even though you can stay at 1cm for weeks it means that labor will be happening soon.
