I had my daughter last night at 6:27pm central time.
Some facts:
They started the pitocin at 1am, Thursday morning.
I was 4cm at 7am, so they broke my water.
At 5cm I started having bad back labor, so I got some nubaine, and hopped into the jacuzzi tub.
After being 6 1/2 m for two hours, I suddenly jumped to 8cm in 10 mins.
(Which caused her heart rate to plummet-- to where it couldn't be detected. but we got it back up.)
At 8cm, I got an epidural because of intense back labor,
The epidural worked.....until i got to 9cm.
I was stuck at 9cm for over an hour.
At this point I...ripped out my IV, bit through my fiance's hand, bit the bed, kicked my mom and the nurse, almost broke the stirrups, and demanded a c-section.
And then I got the urge to push, so i did, even though I was only 9cm.
She was predicted to be 9 lbs 5oz, so he asked if i wanted an episiotomy; I said yes.
He started trying to numb me via shots in between pushing, so he could do the episiotomy.
He gave me four shots, but never did the episiotomy. Why? Because:
Sery Estelle was born! She was 8 lbs 14.1 oz, and was 20.25 inches long.
I only received a first degree tear-- it wasnt even worthy of stitches.
I hemorrhaged, and they couldn't stop the bleeding for about an hour and a half.
I'm fine, now, though.
I labored for a total of 17 hours, and pushed for 27 minutes.
We're still at the hospital, we're getting discharged tomorrow sometime.
Im typing this with one arm-- my daughter is in my other arm.
