maybe TMI but could be serious

so the past few days when i have a bowl movement there has been blood. Not just a few spots,it's kinda like aperiod and i looked things up and colon canser you bleed . I'm probebly just scaring myself . Does anyone know anything it could be? and i dont think its hemorrhoirds.

Sounds serious, I would call the doc asap and save a stool sample. I was thinking hemorroids, but it could be more serious.

Talk to your doctor. I had this problem for months after birth. It was hemroids, sometimes they hurt and sometimes they dont!
Its not something to try to figure out on your own just incase it is more serious

yes. im going to the doctor tomarrow i just don't want them to have to look in my butt or anything. Im not a very open person like that "/

have you eaten anything red ladely? I was crazy for watermelon for about a week and my stools had red color to them, I freaked out but then realized that's what it was from lol If that's not the case for you I hope everything turns out ok.

no its blood when i get up i look (gross) but oh well and it see blood in the toilet too.

You may not be very open, but if it is a matter of life and death, you wont care. I would talk to your doctor. It could be nothing, but why take the chance? And if it is bright red, and LOOKS like blood, it is an active bleed and that cant be good. Old blood looks like coffee grounds.

Then that is an active bleed. It could be something as simple as hemorrhoids or a fissure. I would definitely talk to a doc about it. Better to be safe (and embarrassed) than to let it go and find out it is really serious. Besides, I think that a fissure needs medical attention because of risk of infection. Any time there is a large amount of blood, a doc needs to be seen. Good luck.

Mine was exactly like that. No lie.
Had a colonoscopy just to tell me it was hemorrhoids...
They'll tell you to eat more fiber and take miralax as needed.

Any time you have blood in your stool you should call your doctor.
