Wish me luck

This is weird... I am 3 days overdue and yesterday my DH and I noticed that my stomach looked smaller.. how does that happen? Then I woke up at 4:30 this morning and noticed I was bleeding. It wasn't bright red, it was pink but quite a bit to worry me. I called L&D and they said it was because I was dilating and it was normal. I had some pretty strong contractions that were 5 mins apart for 45 mins and then went away. What the hell is going on w/ my body? Is my little boy ever going to come out? I have a doctor's appt. this morning hopefully she will induce me.. I so tired of worrying about my LO and I just want him here in my arms. SO wish me luck ..I need it. And have any of you had these things happen to them?? Thanks ladies and I hope you all have a wonderful day 

unfortunatly i did not i went almost 3 weeks over due before they induced me. and i had Nothing and when i say nothing i mean nothing, no contractions no spotting, didnt even lose my plug  

but good luck to you hope all goes well.. cant wait to see pics

Good luck! Your baby could be dropping lower into your pelvis making your belly look smaller. Going for a walk or something might keep the contractions coming steady. It wont be long now so be patient

Same exact thing with me!!! I was 42 weeks 5 days the day she was born.

Yeah I was asked if I wanted to be induced at 40 weeks but I refused. At 42 weeks 3 days nothing had happend so I was induced and had her 2 days later.
Stubborn child is what she was!

With my 2nd baby I woke up one day and my hubby and I were both thinking I looked a lot smaller that day. Went into labor that night! He had just dropped down in there, snuggling in to get ready for the ride! Good luck...labor dust to you!  

I just got back from my doctor's appt. Doctor said she thinks I will have my baby with in a few days, if not I will be induced on Friday. I am still only 1cm dilated. I have had lots of contractions (most pretty painful, some not so much) and I am still only 1cm. WTF? I don't think my body works right..lol. Either way the bright side is he will be here in just a few days.. YAY! Thanks ladies.

I was only 1 1/2 cm when I went into labor, so never fear! Hopefully he will come on his own before Friday, but either way, here's to an easy labor!

Thanks hun.!! I hope he comes before then to.. today would be great..lol. But either way it's close.
