damn mother effin mirena.

so monday I have a gynappt to get my mirena out. the stupid thing, if you know all the background, is now in the wrong place. I am so afraid that now i am pregnant, because not one freaking person told me not to have sex, and after the u/s to see if it was in place, nobody called me for 2 weeks, and i had to keep calling them and leaving them messages and they finally called me back yesterday. ugh. this is sooo lame.

Is it still in your uterus?

Omg. How did you know it wasn't in place? Was it after calling them? Could you feel the mirena not in its place? Sorry for all the questions...I have Mirena too.

well i had a colposcopy in august. they used some stuff to help me clot, and it ended up pulling my first one out. so the next day i got this one in. they use the same stuff to help clot after getting mirena so i could fel the strings with that stuff in there for a few days, and i wasnt about to touch it because i didnt want it to get pulled out again. so when it came out the strings were super long. i thought maybe she just didnt cut them right. before they were like this long

so when i went back for my colp check up i told her about it and she kind of acted like i was stupid. so she got in there and was like "OOH WOW THOSE ARE LONG!" so she cut them shorter, and said she didnt know if it was a mess up or if it was out of place so she sent me for the u.s to clarify. to that friday i had that done, and that was miserable, she did a transvag one and was really rough with it pushing it into my cervix, and i have a very sensitive cervix.   all she said when i left was that the results should be to my dr. in about 3 days.

so monday i finally called because it had been over a week. noone called me back, so i called again and again and they finally called thrs and were all non chalant liek "ooh it's out of place, so you'll need an appt to get it out and talk about b.c. options. i think your body might be rejecting it." well thanks for calling me sooner biotch. not one person told me not to have sex

i know, i am so mad. i had it for 22 months, so problem. i guess i should blame hpv, since that is the culprit that started this whole mess of problems

i know. they are great drs. they do their proactice very well, but i think the nurses are a little less competent. they are the ones in charge of calling people after tests. if the doctors sucked, i would probably change, but luckily i dont have to deal with the nurses too much.
