Face turning white after using cream...

Okay so I'm really freaking out right now. Millie woke up a few days ago with little bumps on her face that resembled bug bites, they almost looked like pimples but they weren't changing in size. So I took her to the doctor and he prescribed triamcinolon. I put it on the bumps and today I've noticed that the spots where I put the cream have turned white. So there is a white circle on her cheek that is white, there are a few spots under her eyes and on the bridge of her nose.
I asked the doctor 1000 times if it was okay for her to take, and made sure there was no risk of anything severe happening. I'm going to flip the fuck out if this cream has caused her to permanently lose pigmentation in her face.
I've already called him and left a message.

Have any of you experienced anything like this? And if so, please god, tell me it wasn't permanent.

A lot of those medicines can cause temporary skin bleaching. I would think it would be back to normal in a day or two

My son has really bad eczema, and was prescribed that cream. I noticed the same thing where I put it, but by the next day, it was gone.


eta: We now just use hydrocortisone cream for his itchies, and it actually is working SO much better for him.

Thank you ladies so much, you've really eased my mind. I wish the doctor would have let me know about that side effect, because it seems to be more common than I thought.
