Im not downing anyone that does by any means everyone has their own ways of parenting and this will be my first child but due to my childhood i KNOW i will never hit or spank my child just my choice of parenting

I could beat cheyenne with everything I have and she wouldn't even wince. Its raising my voice that does the trick. Which thank god b/c I hate even having to think about hitting my little baby.

I agree most of the time with 'never say never' , because sometimes you have to be flexible with your parenting. However, I said I would never hit, and I still know that I personally never would. I don't knock other people for spanking, I just don't see the point. It also doesn't help that I was abused, therefore any kind of violence/aggression really gets to me.

I understand what you're saying, I was just clarifying that some people say that they won't spank, and they mean it, and they never do.

I don't. And I won't. My mom spanked me and I thought it was a joke. I didn't respect or listen to her becaue of it... so I won't. But I don't think badly about anyone that does. I just don't.
