I give my 4 month old 1 oz of water mixed with 1 oz of Apple juice, she loves it. I didn't ask her ped. She was slightly constipated because of the rice cereal. Apple juice helped with that and now that she's eating sweet potatoes too she's back to her old self. She hasn't tried anything else than that.

K has only gained 4lbs since birth 7lbs 12oz at birth and 12lbs 1oz now. Not even 4lbs so tahts less than 1lb a month.

We're trying rice cereal tonight so hopefully it doesnt back him up, if it does, I might just try what you do then too just cause Id rather him have that than be constipated.

well since she was born gained a total of 3lbs... birth - 6lbs 13oz and now 8 wks - 9lbs 14oz...I think she is doing good... haha but she still has not rolls on her maube she will be petite like me...

Madison was born at 8lbs 14 oz. She's like 16 lbs now. I find out on the 18th at her 4 month well.

The juice thing is what the mamas on here suggested I tried.   Not saying it's guaranteed to work for you, but it's worth a shot.

She gets 6 oz whenever she asks for it. And she usually downs the whole bottle. She's eaten rice cereal, sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, peas, greenbeans, and applesauce. She didn't do that good on the green veggies though. Oh and she eats oatmeal. Right now she gets half a container around noon.

My lo turned 4 months on the 2nd and he is 12 pounds 2 ounces 25 inches long. He seems so huge compared to how much he was at birth.
