I've googled the model number, and It is not on the recall list, but it hs the same mechanics as the ones that are (adjustable back) so mommas beware if you do have this seat, keep an eye on those screws!

Well it is a certain batch and production number that is recalled. When Mylicon had a recall they still had it in stores but certain SKU's would come up and say it could not be sold.

It looks like a fad....

Isn't it odd that the more expensive end of the baby stuff is recalled more often than the cheaper stuff!

Am I crazy and just seeing things?

I swear as I look through here it is the more expensive stuff being recalled more often than the average or cheaper stuff for babies!

The instructions were recalled not the bumbo. sadly we have to tell people not to leave children unattended in them and thta you shouldn't blow dry your hair in the shower or curl it while you are sleeping. It only takes one dumbass! lol

SunKids Convertible Cribs Recalled by Suntech Enterprises Due to Entrapment and Suffocation Hazards

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Product: SunKids Convertible Cribs
Units: About 1,900
Importer: Suntech Enterprises Inc., of City of Commerce, Calif.
Hazard: The sides of the crib are made of mesh that expands, creating a gap between the side and the crib’s mattress if it’s not zipped into place, or a gap between the side and an added mattress. A young child can slip into this gap and become entrapped or suffocate. Also, the crib’s drop side can fail to fully latch posing a fall hazard to young children.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported with this crib. However, CPSC is aware of the death of a 5-month-old child in August 2008 involving another company’s nearly identical crib that was recalled. The child became entrapped between the mattress and the mesh side and suffocated.
Description: The recall involves the SunKids convertible crib/playpen/bassinet/bed with model number PY256. “SunKids” is embroidered on the bottom left of the crib’s drop side. The convertible cribs have a drop side rail, stationary side rail, canopy assembly, and bassinet. The sides of the convertible crib are fabric and mesh. The mattress support, bassinet, canopy, and bed skirt are covered in fabric. The fabric and the mesh were sold in navy blue, light blue, pink, beige, white, beige checker, and pink heart.
Sold at: Small juvenile product retailers in N.Y., N. J., and Calif. from January 2007 through October 2008 for about $100.
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled convertible cribs and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund.

Evenflo Recalls Envision™ High Chairs Due to Fall and Choking Hazards

Name of Product: Evenflo Envision™ High Chairs
Units: About 643,000
Manufacturer: Evenflo Company Inc., of Miamisburg, Ohio
Hazard: Recline fasteners and metal screws on both sides of the high chair can loosen and fall out, allowing the seatback to detach or recline unexpectedly. Children can fall backwards or fall out of the high chair and suffer bumps and bruises to the head, abrasions, cuts and bruises. Detached hardware also poses a choking hazard to children.
Incidents/Injuries: Evenflo has received 320 reports of seatbacks detaching or reclining unexpectedly, resulting in 19 reports of bumps and bruises to the head and 35 reports of other injuries including abrasions, pinches and bruises. Evenflo has also received 13 reports of recline fasteners and screws falling out of the high chair, resulting in one incident in which a fastener and/or screws were found in a child’s hand or mouth but were removed before choking occurred.
Description: The recall involves all Evenflo Envision™ high chairs, including model numbers: 2891321, 2891321A, 2891333, 2891351, 2891351A, 2891365, 2891375, 2891403, 2891403A, 2891466, 2891466A, 2891478, 2891536, 2891536A, 2891573, 2891586, 2892351 and 2892351A. The model number can be found on a white label on the seatback. “Evenflo” and “Envision” are printed on the front of the tray.
Sold at: Juvenile product and mass merchandise stores nationwide, including Toys“R”Us, Babies“R”Us, K-Mart and Burlington Coat Factory from December 2002 through April 2006 for between $80 and $110.

Hazard: Plastic caps and metal screws on both sides of the high chair can loosen and fall out, allowing the seatback to suddenly fall back or detach from the high chair. Children can fall backwards or fall out of the high chair and suffer bumps and bruises to the head, broken bones, abrasions, cuts and bruises. Detached hardware also poses a choking hazard to children.
Incidents/Injuries: For the models added by this expanded recall, Evenflo has received 16 reports of seatbacks reclining, falling back and/or detaching unexpectedly, resulting in five reports of bumps and bruises to the head and five reports of other injuries including bruises and abrasions. For the models added by this expanded recall, Evenflo has received 145 reports of plastic caps and screws falling out of the high chairs, including one incident in which a cap and/or screws were found in a child’s hand or mouth but were removed before choking occurred.
Description: The expanded recall involves Evenflo Majestic™ high chairs, model numbers: 3001395, 3001395A, 3001604, 3001700, 3001713, 3001713A, 3001730A, 3001732, 3001733, 3001742, 3001742A, 3001756, 3001821A, 3001840A, 3001845, 30011848, 3001852, 3001932, 3002719 and 3003845 manufactured between January 23, 2007 and December 31, 2008. The model number and date of manufacture are located on a white label/sticker on the seatback. “Evenflo” is printed on the label and on the front of the tray. Models showing a year of manufacture of 2009 in red ink are not included in the recall.
Sold at: Juvenile product and mass merchandise stores nationwide, including Toys“R”Us, Babies“R”Us, Walmart.com, and Burlington Coat Factory from January 2007 through March 2009 for between $80 and $110.

Name of product: CARS Fleece Clog Children’s Shoes
Units: About 73,000 distributed in the United States and 18,000 distributed in Canada
Importer: Wal-Mart Stores Inc., of Bentonville, Ark.
Distributor: Pagoda International Footwear Ltd., of Hong Kong
Hazard: The shoe has four decorative wheels that can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received one report of a decorative wheel detaching from the shoe. No injuries have been reported.
Description: This recall involves the Buster Brown & Co. “CARS” fleece clog children’s shoes. The shoe is a red plastic molded clog with fleece lining and is designed to resemble a car. They were sold in infant sizes 4 to 6 and toddler sizes 7 to 11. The infant-size shoes have a strap in the back. Each side of the shoe has two red and black decorative wheels and the number “95”. “Buster Brown & Co.” and “Disney” are printed on a tag sewn inside the shoe.
Sold exclusively at: Wal-Mart stores in the United States and Canada from September 2008 through March 2009 for between $6 and $10 (U.S.) and for about $13 (CAN).
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Customers should immediately take this product away from children and return it to the nearest Wal-Mart store for a full refund.

Product: What’s Inside? Soft Toy Boxes
Units: About 4,000
Manufacturer: Lakeshore Learning Materials, of Carson, Calif.
Hazard: The head of the stuffed butterfly toy can detach from the body, posing a choking hazard to children.
Incidents/Injuries: Lakeshore has received three reports of the head of the butterfly detaching from the body. No injuries were reported.
Description: The recalled product is a soft, multi-colored box with a different color on each side. “What’s Inside?” is embroidered on the front of the box and symbols of a lion, flower and purple butterfly are stitched on another side. Each feely box contains ten small stuffed pieces. The piece affected by this recall is the pink and purple butterfly.
Sold by: Lakeshore Learning Materials stores nationwide and Toys To Grow On™ catalogs from September 2008 through February 2009 for about $40.

eventually everything we own will be recalled for something. They say they are avoiding led products but there are some companies that slip through the cracks producing led products. Its the companies that dont care and try to get the money that keep putting innocent lives in danger.

The crib model number and date code are printed on the label located on the inside of the bottom rail of the headboard or footboard. The cribs were sold nationwide from September 2005 through April 2009 for between $220 and $330.

Consumers should IMMEDIATELY STOP using the recalled cribs and contact Jardine to arrange to receive a full credit toward the purchase of a new crib. Jardine will provide detailed instructions for purchasing cribs in retail stores and online.

Jardine previously recalled the following cribs in June 2008 and January 2009.

Eddie Bauer Play Yards with Rocking Bassinets Recalled by Dorel Juvenile Group Due to Suffocation Hazard

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Product: Eddie Bauer Soothe & Sway Play Yards
Units: About 71,000 in the United States and about 5,600 in Canada
Distributor: Dorel Juvenile Group Inc., of Columbus, Ind.
Hazard: The play yard’s rocking bassinet attachment can tilt when secured by straps (non-rocking mode) which can cause it to stay tilted without returning to a level sleeping surface while in the rocking mode. The tilted sleeping surface can cause an infant to roll to the corner or side of bassinet and become wedged in the corner or pressed against the side or bottom of the bassinet. This presents a risk of suffocation or positional asphyxiation.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm and CPSC have received 10 reports of infants rolling to one side, including 6 that had their faces pressed against the side or the bottom of the bassinet. One child reportedly was turning purple and was out of breath when discovered. No injuries have been reported.
Description: This recall involves Eddie Bauer Soothe & Sway portable play yards. The convertible play yard has a bassinet and changing station feature. A mobile with three teddy bears was also sold with the play yard. Models included in the recall are 05046 (all units) and 05044 units manufactured before December 1, 2008. Different models were sold in Canada. Model numbers and manufacture dates are printed on a sticker on one of the support legs underneath the play yard. Manufacture dates are printed in the YY/MM/DD format.
Sold at: Target, Sears, and Burlington Coat Factory stores nationwide and Internet retailers from January 2008 through May 2009 for about $150.
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the bassinet attachment of the play yard and contact Dorel Juvenile Group for a $40 voucher toward the purchase of a new Dorel product. Consumers can continue using the play yard.

Name of Product: Bugaboo Bee Strollers
Units: About 22,500
Distributor: Bugaboo North America Inc., of Hermosa Beach, Calif.
Manufacturer: Bugaboo Design & Sales, B.V., of the Netherlands
Hazard: One or both sides of the brakes can fail, causing a stroller to unexpectedly roll away on an incline. This can pose a risk of injury to the child occupant.
Incidents/Injuries: Bugaboo has received 121 reports of the stroller’s brakes failing. No injuries have been reported.
Description: Bugaboo Bee strollers have item code 580210 on a label on the back of the seat and item code 50100 on a label on the plastic support under the seat. The strollers were sold in blue, dark khaki, pink, red, yellow, and black. “bugaboo® bee” is printed on the left side of the seat.
Sold at: Juvenile product retailers nationwide and on various Web sites from August 2007 through April 2009 for about $530.
Manufactured in: Taiwan
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the strollers immediately and contact Bugaboo to receive a free repair kit. To order the bracket kit, go to www.bugaboo.com and fill in the special order form or contact Bugaboo customer service.
