Recall: About 1 Million Simplicity Cribs Recalled Due To Failures Resulting in Infant Deaths

The recalled Simplicity crib models include: Aspen 3 in 1, Aspen 4 in 1, Nursery-in-a-Box, Crib N Changer Combo, Chelsea and Pooh 4 in 1. The recall also involves the following Simplicity cribs that used the Graco logo: Aspen 3 in 1, Ultra 3 in 1, Ultra 4 in1, Ultra 5 in 1, Whitney and the Trio. The recalled cribs have one of the following model numbers, which can be found on the envelope attached to the mattress support and on the label attached to the headboard: 4600, 4605, 4705, 5000, 8000, 8324, 8800, 8740, 8910, 8994, 8050, 8750, 8760, and 8996.

I looked at the recall to check since I wanted that whole set for this new baby...here's what I got

Description: This recall involves Portable Rainforest Take Along Swings with a palm tree mobile and two hanging plush toys. The swings are approximately 23-inches-high and have two carry handles on the left and right sides. Model numbers K7203, K7192 and K7195 are included in the recall. Model numbers are located under the right handle on the swing. No other collection of Rainforest swings or products are included in this recall.

Sold at: Discount department stores and toy stores nationwide from November 2006 to May 2007 for about $65.

Bumbo Baby Sitter... I had one on my registry and then they got recalled....Because stupid people were putting there babies in them.. on top of tables.. Duh dont leave your kid on a table by itself! GET A CLUE! not sure when they will be back.. maybe when they repost a warning sign??? I want one.. there neat.

Slipcovers Used With Boppy Pillows Recalled Due to Choking Hazard and
Risk of Lead Exposure
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in
cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary
recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using
recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Product: Boppy(r) Slipcovers
Units: About 38,000
Importer: The Boppy Company, of Golden, Colo.
Hazard: The zipper pull on the slipcovers can break, posing a choking
hazard to young children. In addition, paint on the zippers contains
excess levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard.

Incidents/Injuries: None reported.

Description: This recall involves velvet and boa slipcovers intended for
use with the Boppy(r) Bare Naked nursing and support pillow.
Slipcovers recalled due to a choking hazard were sold in three color
combinations and have the following UPC and date codes found on the
California Flammability Law tag. Slipcovers sold in clear vinyl packages
are labeled Boppy(r) Luxe.

the stokke xplory has a recall of about 2000 of ist strollers because of ist front wheels..Theyre sending replacement wheels...ill send the link a little later as i am writing from my cell and it will take me a long time to find it...

the stokke xplory retails for over $1000...so that means that expensive does not always mean better...

Combi 3-in-1 Activity Walker!

There is not a recall, but piece's of the seat (on mine) break off! I called and they are sending a replacement seat cover that attaches better to the walker (they sounded like they have had this problem before!).

This is what happened to mine:

If you have a similar one - keep an eye on it, or call Combi and see if you can get a replacement just in case!

Also, i just bought the Graco jumpster for my daughter. Well first of all it took 3 tries for me to attach the bottom because they kept coming undone. Then i finally got them all in and punched the bottom like the manual says. I put a floor pillow under her and put her in. What happens, she jumped one time and the bottom fell out. I'm so glad i put that pillow under her. I t hasn't been recalled but i certainly complained and it should be!
