Yay, he is a baby!!!

so Dreydon hasnt really accomplished anything....he stays awake a little longer, smiles, and tries to roll over but cant at 5 1/2 mths. I was starting to get down on things and he grabbed at a toy tonight, yay!!! He can barely hold his head up, but apparently loves his toy! He weighed 12 lbs 1 oz last week,  . Hes becoming my little chunker! I wish I could share pictures but my other son broke my camera  . Soon enough I will be able to though. Thanks for reading!

Wow, how much did he weigh when he was born? He is really small. That's probably why he isn't doing a lot. He may not be strong enough

Wow, you're baby is so tiny. Mine just turned 6 months old, and is 19 lbs 9oz...she gained almost 4 lbs in the last month! Congrats that he's grabbing at toys now! That's super exciting!

my nephew didn't hold his head up for a LOOOONG time, i don't remember how old he was exactly, but his problem was he has a huge head (no joke) the doctor even told my sister that's why he couldn't sit up on his own & stuff because of his big noggin! he eventually grew into it  
Don't worry about it mama!! all kids learn at a different pace, one of these days he's going to do all thee above & then some & shock the hell outta you!!

That's awesome he is playing w/ his toy!! it's always nice to see them do something new!! I can't wait to watch my baby girl learn new things!!

I am not sure exactly...the hospital says and ven put on his birth certificate 3 lbs 11 oz but the next day he dropped to 2 lbs 5 oz and in the 2 lb range is normal for 28 weekers, even the nicu nurses said that seemed big for his age,so I think it was 2 lbs11oz, but we say 3 lbs 11 oz.

My son is a year old and is only 19 pounds. He's doing just fine! I'm glad that your baby is moving along.

Thats what I go by and they told me I should go by atleast until hes 2 years old, but its hard sometimes bc hes been here for so long, I forget he was here before he was supposed to be, and he stays in the same stage forever it seems like lol.

Ok so to me 12lbs for a 3lbs (guesstimating an average in between the weights) Preemie at 6 months(3 adjusted) doesn't sound small at all, but then again my overdue 9lbs7oz Monster weighed around 10.5lbs at 3 months & 13lbs at 6 months!

The infant stage lasts FOREVER with a preemie...but then boom it's gone. So enjoy it!

I will....it seems like my first, it went by soo fast and he is already a demanding little toddler lol.

Lol my other 2 kids were small when they were born, so I dont think he would have gotten that big, although he is bigger then my older son was at 12 mths lol.
