Okay so it's been 7 years since I had to do this with my daughter so I honestly can't remember.. 

How much rice cereal do you put in the bottle per ounce??

Well he is on Zantac of course but I know you can add the rice cereal to the formula to help it stick to their tummy's but I can't remember how much to put in the bottle.. Just got to keep them up right most of the time.. My son sleeps on his boppy.

they didnt tell me anything like that. they just said to keep her upright.

You can also buy the formula with the added rice.. I believe it's the enfamil A.R lipil. I just have a ton of other formula I want to use first before I buy that one.. Ha...

Okay I figured it out.. Haha.. it's 1 tsp per ounce, but since my son is still so little we are only going to do 1 tsp per 2 ounces. 

I would definitely talk to her doctor about what you can do..

Nope. They just told me to use Similac Isomil. She has a constipation problemand it helps that but not the reflux.

My pedi told me 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp per ounce. Now that Koen's a bit older, we only do 3 tsp in 6 ounces of formula. However, I'd ask your pedi about it before you do it!

Yea we are only doing 1tsp per two ounces since his belly is still soo small. It's made a HUUUGE difference. 


I would ask about getting her on Zantac, usually they will put them on it. Especially when it's severe.

we did oatmeal and 1tsp per ounce. similac sensitive rs has rice added though.
