my baby girl is 6 months. She isnt crawling yet but she gets up on all 4s and rocks lol. I think she will be crawling around 7 months. And my son never did crawl, he just scooted around and at 9 months he started walking.

Mine just started and he's 7 1/2 months. But my doc says a lot of babies never crawl anymore. Something to do with how they're not on their stomach as much because of not sleeping on their stomachs anymore because of SID probs.

your daughters adjusted age is 6 & 1/2 months so i wouldn't worry about it.

babies still are on their stomach's the same, i don't know where your doctor got that from -- you cant keep a baby from rolling over during the night and you are SUPPOSED to give them tummy time during the day to strengthen their neck muscles.

Yea, but before the rule of not sleeping on stomach (before they can roll over) they'd have the day time tummy time, and time sleeping during the night on their stomach. I know my son never sleeps on his stomach. Even now that he can roll over and crawl.

I worked at a daycare and one of the babies were born 2 months early and didn't even start army crawling until she was about 10 months old, and is now about 14 months old and just started actually crawling, crawling. All babies are different, if you're not so sure the doctor is right you can try a second opinion

First of all, not all babies crawl. It's not like walking - it doesn't have to happen. My 28 weeker crawled around 10 months and close to the same for my 30 weeker.
