I think it has to be done by 17 weeks or so. Hopefully I make it to my next appt. in 2 weeks and I will punch him in the face then. I feel like a bowling bawl is in between my legs lol.

Yeah... With being on bed rest some days the pressure is a little better and some days its worse... Im not allowed to walk anywhere anymore if I do go out... like to Walmart or somewhere ... I have to use a wheelchair. I cant stand or walk for more than two seconds before I start cramping and contracting and my pelvis is soooo sore from it all that it feels like its going to break in half.

When I first felt like that at 25 weeks I went in and my Dr checked me and I was the same 1cm I have been since 14 weeks... but I had effaced to 80%!!!!! We both know after you thin out 100% its all fast dilation from there.... I would go to L&D and tell them everything you are feeling and about the contractions and let them take care of you because it sounds like your doctor is a dumb-ass (to me anyway).

I went into pre term labor a few times with my last... The worst was at 26 weeks i was hospitalized for a week. But he made it to 37 weeks

Hi, I haven't personally, but my friend did. She had twin boys at 25 weeks and they're 5yrs old now. It was very difficult for them, but now they have two healthy boys, normal for their age, no learning difficulties or health troubles or anything. And medicine has advanced even in the last 5yrs! I hope you're going okay. Laura.

IF you are feeling pressure and stuff down there.....start by drinking TONS of water...when you think you have had enough...keep going. Lay down with your head as low as you can tolerate with your feet and bottom as high as you can tolerate. Call L&D and ask for information and guidance on what they suggest. I had a 25 week 3 day pregnancy....my daughter was born 1lb 7oz. She has done remarkably well. I hope that you don't go into labor soon. It's a tough and long road in the NICU. Good Luck

It sounds like your doctor should've checked you to atleast see if you're dialting or not but if i was you i would keep on top of your pregnancy and take it easy because you kind of sound like how i was. When i was 21 weeks they found out i had a short cervix i think it was like around 2 cms. Then @ 23 weeks found out i was less then a cm it was very scary to find out but i was put on bedrest had to stop working. A week later i noticed that it looked like i was loosing my mucous plug a lil bit so i went into the triage and they told me that was dialting 3cm and contracting a lil bit my water bag was slippin through my cervix a lil bit so the put me on meds to stop the contractions strict bedrest and i had to sleep at an angle almost upside down 26 and half weeks they told me i can go home and to stay on bed rest i was 1 to 2cm dialted. At 27 and half weeks my water broke so i had to go back in the hospital and be on bedrest they gave me medication for infection the medication was horrible non stop salivia. So i had to stay in the hospital until i gave birth. I gave birth @30 n half weeks my son was 2 pounds 11 ounces. He stayed in the hospital for 6 and half weeks and came home. Now he will be 7 months tomorrow and around 14 pounds and healthy. but the doc told me next time i get prego i have to get a cerclage @ 12 weeks.

I am definately trying to rest and if my contractions are regular at all I will go to L&D. I am glad your sweetie is ok!

well..my daughter was 5 weeks early..and it was funny b.c i was almost a week overdue with my son, so i so wasnt expecting her to be a preemie....but shes 100 percent healthy...i was also overdoing it @work...and i think a part of that was why my water broke, so please take an easy at work...

you know my story well enough i believe. so i'd just say they feel worse and go up to LD just to get checked! i started dialating with contractions and just days later my water broke (for the second time at 24 weeks) and had Jaylynn three days after that. it was all so quick and her body was about 80% covered in infection because of being dialated and having my water break.. good luck
