co-sleeping :(

Why is that the only way my 7 week old will sleep??? I'm not even close to him to where u can say its because he like feeling me.. But he loves sleeping in our bed.. It gets hard sometimes!! My hubby me and the baby.. I don't really like coslepping but if that's the only way that's gonna get me some zZzZ's then I must do it.. Ughhh.. Its too early for this :s

Maybe you're not touching him, but he knows you're there. He can smell you lol. Babies are pretty intelligent, though helpless little creatures.

Swaddle him. Tight, so his arms don't come out. He probably will fight it at first, but try anyways. This is the only way I could get my son to sleep without me. He was swaddled until 4 months old!

try to put your pilloe case or an unwashed shirt in the crib. that used to help when i first went back to work.

this is why i won't co sleep.....

yea we all say that before baby get here. u will feel totally different once holding ur baby in ur arms and time to put baby down and walk away, it will b hard lol esp when u want to get some rest. i chose to do it b/c when she cried and was hungry, pop the tit, and go back to sleep. lol

lol..and this is why i should never posts in these when my baby isn't here yet..

i also won't be popping my tit anywhere because i can't bf for medical reasons

that help me soo much. i had my shirt on all day and used it as her sheet and she slept fine after that. Even alnight some times

yep u cna never say never til u hold that baby in your arms.

sometimes what I do when I want some alone time with my DH I just hold her hand and rub her head until shes asleep in her basinett...it really does help..or rock him if u want him to sleep alone..

i know that everything is subject to change...just like i said i would never even date a sailor and now i am married to one..

but....that doesn't meani cannot form my own opinion for myself, before that happens..that is how life experiences come about,..thank god for free will...i'm not downing anyone for co sleeping...but at this very second, when i'm tired, sleep deprived, and sick as hell..i am fine with saying that i won't

I'll just say...the number one cause of co-sleeping is sleep deprivation! I like my sleep. I like it too much to sit in another room with a baby who doesn't like his sleep as much as I do! But you're right. You have to hold your own convictions and change them at will. Its funny how they change though.

it is funny....and i realized how drastically these thoughts change as soon as one life event happens...like my husband....that is when i stopped and was like yeah,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, there is always flexibility in the plan
