Quoting I ♥ Yasmine:“ your child isnt even here so when it is, chances are they will sleep with you. You can form your own opinon its just pointless to say them when you havent been there IMO”

from my understanding, the way to be a parent the way you wish to be, just like with anything else in life, is to form your own personal opinion on certain aspects of that situation and then once you are there, you ease into your own pattern of life.....correct?

my question for you is, you have never walked by someone in the mall whom is spanking their child in public (just an example, it could a plethora of other things that you might not agree with at that moment) , you have never once muttered to yourself "i would never do that to my child"? even before she was born................................................................................................

well, isn't that the exact same thing as what i just did? i also said that everything is subject to change and flexibility, so it isn't as though my thinking is one dimensional.... thank you though for your opinion...

Quoting ღEvan's Mommyღ:“ OP: if you really don't want to co sleep then you might think about getting a co-sleeper. That way your ... [snip!] ... will be in a little bassinet right by the bed and really close to you but you and your hubbs will have the bed to yourselves.”

This is why we got the ArmsReach co-sleeper... and it still doesn't work! I was hoping it'd be the ideal solution, but the only place this lil guy will sleep is in my arms or my bed. We have a superking bed (6'6 x 6'6) but i still worry!

mine too!! hated the swaddling part but once it was done, she was out! then she got too squirmy and that was the end of that!
