child support

ok i been tryna get on but my comp broke. soo whatever.

anyway.. i went to court on the 20? and got everything done. the asshole didnt show up so he has no visitationn. he owes me $750 & got to give me 150 weekly. but im questioned as to how they get me the money. do they automatically take it off his paycheck or does he have to send it? ,.. & today i got the letter for direct deposit or if i want a NJ Debit Card.. which one should i do.. or which one takes longeer. cause theyre saying if i want the NJ i got to wait 30 days until they send it to me.. so thats a whole month before i get my first payment. UGH . im so confused.

anyway. how long after you went to court & got your order did you get your first paycheck?

i went to court in july 1st and still no money... my sister went liek 2 months ago and she still got no moneyy

did they send you the letter asking how you'd like to recieve the payment? cause i got that today & court was last week.

question about child support -

i sent in the papers like a month and a half aog, and i just got a paper last week about a PIN number to check the status and what not..how long after you filed did you get a court date?

well i never sent the paperwork. i went to the hall of justice & did it there. & they gave me the date on the spot. i never got a pin or anything.

yeah i picked the nj card cuz i dont have a bank accont.. took a while for it to some.. still no moeny tho. guess he aint paying




when do they issue a warrent for not paying?? i heard its after they owe 2,500???

It also depends on if he pays! I had been getting support for years, then he switched jobs, and never filled out the paperwork to get it taken from his paycheck and I haven't seen anything since, it's only been since Feb. Good luck, and keep up on your caseworker. I live in KS, the child support order is in NC and the spermdonor moved to Alaska. So there's not much I can do

lol ohhhh idk. i think they warned him for a warrant for not showing up. but i THINK that its coming out of his paycheck . cause i know his social & i had paystubs from his job and everything so they got all the information through me. i gave them the address of where he works and the judge was like ok we'll contact his job. im hoping they just take that shit out his paycheck . lol. & where in NJ are you?,.. ugh idc if he doesnt pay me its all building up i checked and it went from 635 last week to 750 this week hahah.
