some of you know I was in the hospital for 5 weeks due to Pre e....PIH and then after getting steroid shots I developed GD for 2 weeks and then preterm labor....I think I have the record for having the most complications....also had issues with my nurses messing up doses and shots and stuff...My Dr was even like "I know you don't have much confidence in things right now but at least your dr's are here" Yea it was frustrating to say the least...I entered on July 18th....missed my Sisters wedding....also seeing my grandfather..he has had stage 4 cancer for over 2 years now and was just recently not given much time....so being in bedrest in the hospital made me extremely depressed...I honestly wouldn't wish it on anyone....I had a lot of text buddies...Thanks you guys!!

On Aug 21st I had some issues with one dr and the nurses which caused me to get upset...once I got upset my BP went through the roof....it stayed around 180/110 for about 3 hours.....so my dr put me on a Magnesium IV and told me I was going to be having a C Section.....It threw me off guard bc I was informed by other dr's they would put me on mag and then induce me....but either way I called my husband at work...my sister and my parents (who also were caring for my 15 month old)....Scott and my sister were there for when she came and my sister shortly after.

The C section went good....Very fast....I was so scared and nervous bc things were moving so fast but I was in great hands....While having the C section my Dr found a very large cyst on my left ovary that had basically taken over it. I had to have my left ovary and tube removed bc of it. My dr even said as much as he would have liked to do an induction he is so glad we had the C section bc we found the cyst mass which later could become cancerous.

Gianna came out crying and scored a 9.9 on her apgar which is GREAT for a preemie and a C Section! She went to the Nicu for observation bc I was on Mag...but never hooked up to anything...they had started an IV for fluids bc of the Mag...but she started having a bottle a few hours later

I am currently both Breastfeeding and Supplementing with Neosure. She is doing great....at her dr checked up she was 5lbs and 8.5 oz and 18 inches...so she either grew an inch or they measured her wrong at the hospital....bc I watched them do it at the dr's....

My 15 month old had been sick and went to the dr's today and tested positive for the Flu...and since I had a sore throat and fever...my dr's put me also on Tamiflu.....so we both are on it and I wear a mask when feeding her. but I was told it was great I was BF'ing bc she is building antibodies to it!

Aww congrats she's beautiful! My preemie take neosure too and its helped her gain
enough weight to finally catch up to where she should be-she was born very
underweight. How long do they think yours will be in the NICU?

I'm so sorry you had basically the crappiest pregnancy ever, but Miss Gianna is so gorgeous and sweet

She only spent 12 hours in NICU and went home with me

Thanks MO! I wouldn't wish my pregnancy on anyway....nor the care I got in the hospital...I am just happy she was healthy

yes I was very lucky she was so healthy.....she scored a 9.9 on her Apgar She is the cutest and sweetest thing!! she is small but acts just like she was full term...her pedi's are very impressed with her

yea she looks a lot like Carter did when he was small..she just has darker hair

hehe I think the fabric would be at a Joann's

and Carter loves her to death but he was just diagnosed with the Flu so he has to stay away from her
