BestTime for 3d/4d ultrasound

I am 15 weeks and wondering when would be the best time to schedule a 3d/4d ultrasound. When did you have the best results. I will get the regular dr one August 8th and want the better one. I am not interested in finding out the sex but do want to get good pictures and see the baby clearly. I am due 12/31

I think around 24-28 weeks. Im going when im 16 just to find out the sex sooner he he  

i just went in for mine last friday - i was 26 weeks along.
once i was there (lol, with my fingers crossed) i asked her the same question. she said the best range to have it done is anywhere between 26 - 33 weeks.

When I checked into getting one, I was told that you can get the good pics between 24-36 weeks, but that the best time is 26-33 weeks. I was 37 weeks when I looked into it, so no one would do them....     I was so upset I just sat there and bawled my eyes out for like an hour!!   But I'll see him soon enough. Just wished I had known earlier...  

best time is 24 weeks when baby has developed features ....i'm not even 20 weeks and my mother is already itching to get those 4d pics done!

I am 22 weeks pregnant and I actually inquired today about having a 3D Scan, I was told by the sonographer that the best time to have a scan is at 30weeks due to the baby having more fat on him/her, if you are having mulitples they say alil earlier at around 28 weeks, I made my appointment for 28 weeks because I didn't want to wait till 30weeks   But the recommended is 30weeks hope it helps
